Simba Shipping can help you export your heavy vehicle from the UK to Singapore. We can handle trucks, horse boxes, caravans, lorries, people carriers, vans and much more. If you have any doubt please call us with your vehicle spec so we can check and confirm that we can handle the shipment for you. These heavy vehicles can either be shipped via roro (roll on roll off) or, subject to dimensions, they can be loaded into a 20 foot or 40 foot container, depending on size and your own preferences. If it is sent using the Roro method, the vehicle will be driven on board by professional drivers and lashed securely under deck where it is protected from the wind and rain for the duration of the voyage. We have fortnightly sailings from Southampton for Roro shipments; transit to Singapore is around 26 days, subject to schedule. If your truck will fit into a container then there are weekly sailings direct from Southampton or Thamesport to Singapore, and transit time is approximately 23 days, subject to schedule.
If you would like to receive a quote for your truck or heavy vehicle, please send us an email or call us and let us know the make and model and also the dimensions and weight of your vehicle so we can quote for you. Length, width and height are the dimensions we need. Please also let us know which method you would prefer to ship the unit, or if you are unsure we can discuss the options with you and answer any questions you may have regarding them.
Please be aware that we cannot quote for you without the exact vehicle dimensions which we have requested and it is also your responsibility to check for any rules or restrictions which may apply to your shipment as we do not get involved with those here and will not be held responsible for the same or for any charges arising if a vehicle has been shipped but cannot be imported to Singapore because it does not adhere to any regulations in place. Information can be obtained from the Singaporean embassy in London or if you contact a clearing agent in Singapore.
