RoRo – Roll on Roll off Car Shipping:
RoRo vessels are specifically designed to carry trucks under deck and so are not exposed to any external elements. The trucks and tractor units are secured and lashed to the floor of the ship to prevent any movement during transit.
20 FT or 40FT containerised shipping:
Trucks and their parts are lashed and secured onto open top flat rack containers to prevent any movement during transit.

We can ship your truck, truck head, drivable caravan, people carrier, horse box or minibus from Southampton to India. In fact, we will quote for any heavy truck or vehicle on wheels so do contact us for a quote even if your vehicle is not listed above. We offer a regular service to Mumbai and Chennai – Mumbai is one sailing a month and Chennai is two sailings a month, transit for both is approximately 30 days subject to schedule – but if there is a port that you would rather ship to please give us this information when you make your enquiry so we can look into finding a suitable option to do this for you , if it is possible.
If you would like us to quote for you please provide us with the length, width and height of your unit when you contact us. Please be aware that if you have something loaded inside your truck then we will need that included in the dimensions you give us and we will need to know the details of the objects loaded as well so we can get approval from the shipping line before we quote for you. All rates given are subject to the final measurement and weighing of the vehicle at the port. Please ensure that you have checked with the correct authorities for information on any rules, restrictions and regulations that may be applicable for cargo being imported to India as we can’t get involved with that and would not be held responsible for any charges or situations where this was not done.
